Old recipes, new memories

Inspired by old publications and books on Warsaw cuisine — often more than a century old — we bring forgotten recipes back to life, to carry our distinguished gourmets, if only for a moment, into the one-of-a-kind world of our beloved city’s pre-war gastronomy. Our homemade liqueurs and other drinks are made in-house to original recipes. It would be a mortal sin not to try them!

  • Stołeczna Meduza – pork legs in jelly with grated horseradish
  • Catholic from Gnojna Street – herring in cream with onion, apple and grated egg
  • Zimna Zagrycha – the finest smoked meats and homemade pâtés with pickles
  • Vegetarian Wrap 🌿 – a tortilla with vegetables and creamy cheese
  • Salad with marinated beetroot , goat cheese and walnuts
  • Bigos – sauerkraut with meat in red wine
