Set near the historic Plac Mirowski, Gruby Josek suits a small crew and a big one alike. Modern in form, yet keeping the memory of old Warsaw, it takes equal care of the food and the spirit of the city. We will arrange any party for you — and not only a small one: we can seat as many as 150 guests. For more intimate occasions we can set aside a private area. Partition screens underline the mood and give a sense of comfort during a business dinner or a team celebration.

Taking inspiration from publications and books about Warsaw cuisine, often with a history of over a century, we bring old recipes back to life. All this to take our Dear Guests to the world of the unique, pre-war gastronomy of our beloved city, even for a moment.
Fried royal carp in a cream-and-wine sauce with dill potatoes, or traditional pierogi with sauerkraut and mushrooms… Such experiences will linger long and fondly in the memory.
We prepare homemade liqueurs and other drinks ourselves, according to original recipes.

Please confirm the final number of guests and selected dishes no later than 5 days before the planned event.
The final confirmation of the event organization is a written order (e-mail), and payment of 20% of the menu value to the account as soon as possible.
We provide definitely professional waiter service throughout the event. 10% of service will be added to the final bill.
All prices given in the menu are given in final values, i.e. gross prices.
